Encore Las Vegas - Review
We stayed at the Encore in Las Vegas Recently and while the standards remained high for typical Wynn property we had a few issues.
The Good
The Good
- Access to the front desk from the entry is great and unlike the Wynn the elevators are behind the front desk....not 1/2 mile away.
- Beautiful decorating! The place feels quaint and cozy....the red chandeliers are a little much though.
- Proximity to Wynn is great, just a short stroll doen the esplanade....o.k. shopping.
- The valet exit on to Desert Inn Road is great....no waiting in traffic on Las vegas Blvd.
The Bad
- Our room smelled like "Shit/Cow manure" my wife has a sensitive nose and it may be the new of the room may be wearing off creating the stench.
- AIR CONDITIONING - The air has never worked at the Wynn and the same system is in place at the Encore. The thermostat is purely a decoration and this place was warm in the wimter....scares me for summer.
- Charging for internet and spa entry at a 5 Star hotel is lame in anyones book. I get free internet at the Marriott Courtyard for crying out load. The spa is nice, but I would like to work out for less than $30 a day.
- We only dined at Wazuzu & Society Cafe and while the food was great the openness to the casino floor made it seem like I should have been eating at a slot machine. The retaurant should be an escape from gambling not a constant reminder.

Todd Goldman
Todd Goldmans first painting exhibition "The Stupid Factory debuted in Las Vegas, 2004 and catapulted Todd into the world of fine art. Subsequent one-person and group exhibitions of his work in cities across the country and around the world followed. The universal acceptance of his irreverent humor and simply drawn characters has been sensational, drawing big crowds and causing surprised gallery goers to break out in belly laughs. Todd's uninhibited characters, whose underground witticisms and back talking abrasiveness strike a chord with people of all ages, and adds a complexity to each painting that is raw, self-deprecating and often without regard for social etiquette. Goldmans paintings are included in important private and corporate collections worldwide, including Paramount Pictures, Endeavor Talent, Maverick Films and Meteor Worldwide. Todds artwork is in the private collections of Paul McCartney, John Goodman, The Wayans Brothers. And Jessica Simpson, to name a few.
